ResellerRatings.com All Enthusiast, Inc SCAM - Allows anonymous libel comments then forces merchants to sign up to remove them. Internet, Internet

ResellerRatings.com aka All Enthusiast, Inc allows consumers to essentially drop bombs on a business, anonymously.   Unless somebody checks the claims veracity, a seller can earn black marks without doing anything wrong.  Because consumers and competitors know they can denigrate a seller with impunity, ResellerRatings.com cashes in by forcing merchants to sign up for service to try to remove libel comments and unfair competition from 3rd party posts.

Any hope of having the fake reviews, competitors posts or comments removed is impossible *unless* you sign up for their service.   This is how ResellerRatings.com makes their money!   While there are many posts from real customers, they bank on the negative commments and posts from competitors on a merchants account so that they are forced to sign up and TRY to have the comments removed.

The posts from consumers are not even verified.  While they ask for an invoice number, ResellerRatings.com never checks to see if its real.   Actually, in their own TOS they even state that they are in no position to investigate the ligitimacy of any post.   People are fooled thinking the reviews are real when in fact they were never verified.  At least with the BBB they make sure its a real complaint AND contact the merchant for assistance.   ResellerRatings.com is one sided and you have to pay money to try to "fix" posts they allowed from anonymous sources.

To show how crooked this company really is, they don't even allow consumers to post a comment about their own website!   Strange that "consumers" can post anything about a business, except theirs!   But in their TOS they state that they do not censor posts?   Double standards?  or fear of what rating they would really get because of their online scam?

Reseller ratings claims that neither All Enthusiast Inc., nor any affiliated persons or entities is in a position to investigate, censor or otherwise ensure the accuracy of any comments, remarks or other information and content ("Content") posted or generated by users of this Web site, and therefore is not responsible in any way for such Content provided by users or other third parties.

*******    However, they have censored / restricted their own website from receiving customer reviews about their own service.   *******

Since their own website will not allow you to review their service (but you can flame anyone else you like), I highly recommened that folks having similar problems contact the BBB about their practices:

Seems this is the only way to get the word out to merchants about this company.

Forcing merchants to sign up to deal with libel & competitive comments is not acceptable when the so-called "people" posting them are anonymous and ResellerRatings.com does not even check with the merchant concerning invoice numbers.   Their website is a scam to obtain a list of retail stores information for resell & other monetary use.
