Complaint Review: reservations.com

reservations.com I was on hotel website for booking but was "shifted" to reservations.com with no "alert" Internet

I went on the wyndhamhotels.com website to book a room for the next night. The results showed a room rate of $76 at the Super 8. I went directly to the Super 8 website, verified the check In and Check Out dates, selected the $76 rate for 1 Room/ 1 guest and entered the necessary information to complete the booking, including my email address and credit card info.

As soon as the reservation was completed, the total charged to my credit card account was $106.10. I immediately called the Super 8 local number to request a cancellation and was told that the reservation was "non-cancelable and non-refundable."

I have disputed the charge with my credit card company with no success. I continue to persue the dispute with both Wyndham Hotels and reservations.com.
