We got on the wrong track by using the internet train.We ordered car parts from a internet company called Parts Train.At the end of the order you are asked if you want to receive $10.00 off of your next purchase.You get the $10.00 off by doing a survey.By doing this your are also told that they will share all your infomation will companys they think you might be interested in.
What they don't tell you is that means your card numbers as well.Beware of this offer.We dicovered this finally after 5 months.And only because my husband asked me about it.It was his card so I assumed he was the one that signed up for it.Not so!We have been charged $12.00 a month for something we did not give our autherized consent to do.I did call them they asked me to verify my address.The nerve!!!I refused.I told they took my info without my knowledgeeI was not going to supply them with what they already knew.All I wanted from them was the name of the company that stole our info andthen gave it to them.They refused.Then I asked to speak to a supervisor.Santos the assitant supervisor came on the line.He asked me the same thing.Again I refused.After going round and round I told I was going to report them to the BBB,the news media and the attorney general of Wa State,and that our bank will be lookink into the matter.
He then told me it was PartsTrain that gave the the information.I hung up.I called our bank reported them,then I called them back,told them I want a refund for the last 5 months and to take us out of their system.Santos told me they sent us many emails informing us or our member.We have spam blocker.So the emails would be going there and not my in box.The reason for this is because we did not give them our email address ourselfs.Again they stole it.Hence the word spam comes to mind,unwanted and unread email.I also told him I knew they are under the ownership of Virtrue.I also let them know that I knew they are under investagation by a law firm based in San Fransisco,Ca for this very thing.Low and behold,Santos said he would be giving us a full refund and we are no longer held in membership status.We will see.The name of the law firm is Girard Gibbs LLP.Look them up.I just happened on it when I did a google search on this Res rewards company.We also were getting charged 14.95 a month from Shopping Essentials.Also owned by Virtrue.HMMMM..Be very very careful.Do not fill out any surveys when you order from companys on line.You also could be on a train ride or in our case rides to nonconsented memberships.Shame on Parts Train for helping Reservation Rewards to steal from us and everyone else who's bank account and credit cards were raided.
