Residential Contracting Incorporated RCI RCI took my money but never complted the job they were hired to do. Repeated requests have gone unanswered West Orange New Jersey
RCI Contracting Incorporated is a disreputable firm. They were contracted to do work on my house. They were paid in advance but the job is still not completed and work stopped in September 2008, about 2 months ago.
The worst part is the owner of RCI Tom Short, lives accross the street from me. He has a flippant attitude toward work and completing the job. No matter how many times I ask if the necessary supplies were ordered or when the job will be completed I am given the same answer. "I don't know"
I would strongly not recommend that anyone do business with this company. RCI is also very reluctant to give any kind of written estimates or give any type of concrete answer when it comes to prices, work schedules, or completion time. RCI allways expected prompt payment.
Since the owner Tom Short, lives accross the street from me I assumed that he would complete the job and if there were any problems all I needed to do was walk accross the street and discuss the situation with him. Tom has demonstrated that he is not a man of his word and is truly dishonest. If he cheated me, his neighbor do you think he'll be honest with anyone else?
