Complaint Review: Resort Advertising Pros

I listed my time share with these scam artist 02/2011. Very smooth and persistent "representative" Brenda McGee. It cost $798.00 for the marketing and advertising. They said they could get $45,000.00 for it. I frequently went to their website to see if my property was listed. I could never find it.

When I called to check on the progress I always got the run around. Brenda was "terminated" so my account was passed off to Jeanette McShane. It took multiple calls to finally get to her. Then she passed the account off to Frank Klimek. Unbeknownst to me the "contract" expired in June. There was no progress at all with the sale.

When I started calling the "Corporate Office" they began to look into the account to see what was going on. Rita said she would turn it over to the manager Dennis.

When I called again in October to speak to Dennis I got one of his lackys, Mitch. I started being persistent probing for answers. He said my contract expired in June. I said that since my account was so poorly handled and no one told me it was going to expire that I felt they owed me some consideration. He quite bluntly, rudely and with profanity said "I don't owe you s___ or any thing", now I am goning to hang up on you". Subsequent calls have been ignored or given to snswering machines. That has been a persistent problem.

Regardless of how desperate you are to sell your timeshare do not fall victim to these people.

I have filed a complaint with the Florida AG Office (myfloridalegal.com) and the Florida Consumer Affairs Office (800helpflorida.com).

They have changed their website address to resortadvertisingpros.info.
