REM contacted my husband and myself regarding selling our timeshare in Orlando. We were interested and didn't know that they were a scam since they were members of the BBB, we paid them $899. We never heard from them again, couldn't find our listing online and can't get through to them by phone. We cannot afford to lose money this way in this economy. I just hope someone does file a class action lawsuit. I would be happy to come on board. These ripoff companies that take advantage of people like us should be stopped.

Can't get a hold of who?

Resort Equity Marketing is not apart of the BBB anymore because they are a "for profit" organization that has refused rebuttals to accusations against the company. Asking for customer service is the correct action to take when you have questions regarding your account, especially the appropriate updates needed. REM is apart of many other organizations to make you feel secure in who you are handling your business with. Like any other business, like a cell phone carrier for example, once you have entered a contract you can't go back to that executive that helped you sign it, your personal information is handled by CUSTOMER SERVICE for your protection. The company isn't a scam when the services provided are explained thoroughly in contracts.
