Complaint Review: RESORT EQUITY MARKETING - REM

same as other reports, i have been ripped off by this so called company. my husband and i went through this company to sell our timeshares they promised that they would sell it within 90 days and if they wouldn't then they would give us a $1000 shopping spree

they also said that they would call if we get any deals on the property but of course no phone calls came through

well 90 days passed and we called and they said oh it's based upon 180 days well of course we wait 180 days.

before the 180 days are up we call and they said they would send us the $1000 shopping spree, they said it would come in the mail in about 4-5 days, we wait still nothing so we call back they said they would resend it.

again nothing, so we call again and they resend it and finally we get it. well we look at and it was an online ordeal so we go to the website, put in our code to see what we could get for a $1000

the website was full off a bunch of bull crap, to spend the $1000 we would buy one of everything on there, they were things that nobody would want unless you wanted a mug or shirt or a mouse pad, things like that

it was not worth spending on, so of course we did not use it now i'm waiting on calling them for my money back, we'll see how that goes.
