Resort Solution Trust, Inc. Shawn Kane, Johnnie Cooksey, and an Office Manager that goes by "Anthony" with no last name. LIARS & RIPOFF'S Largo, Florida

On January 19, 2012 we were contacted by Resort Solution Trust stating they had a buyer for our timeshare in Pigeon Forge, TN and wanted to know if we were interested in selling it.  We did not have our timeshare listed for sale nor were we thinking of selling it. My husband & I listened to what they had to say on speaker phone so that we could both understand what they were saying.  After we were told that they had a buyer, we were transferred to an Advertising Executive named Shawn Kane. 

He then confirmed with us that they had a buyer for our timeshare and in order to process this sale we needed to pay their fee of $2281.00 for their services of selling the timeshare.  My husband & I agreed and gave them our credit card information over the phone.  Shawn Kane stated he was sending via email the contract for us to sign and email back as this would cut the time down on processing this sale by almost a week.  Once the document was signed and emailed we received confirmation that they received it via email.
 
On Thursday, January 26, 2012, I contacted Shawn Kane by phone but was unable to reach him so I left a message.  The message stated that we wanted to touch base with him to see where we were in the process of the sale and if he could please contact me and I left 2 phone numbers where I could be reached. 
 
On Friday, January 27, 2012, I contacted Shawn Kane again by phone but again was unable to reach him so I left another message.  The message stated that I had called the day before and hadnt heard anything yet and I wanted to see if he could tell me where we were in the process of the sale and to please return my phone call as soon as you can.  I left 3 different phone numbers where I could be reached.
 
On Wednesday, February 1, 2012, I contacted Shawn Kane again by phone but again was unable to reach him so I left another message.  The message stated that I had phoned him twice the week before and I still have not heard anything from anyone in the office as to where we stand in the sale of our timeshare.  I also stated that I really needed someone to call me back so I can find out what is going on.
 
On Friday, February 3, 2012, I contacted Shawn Kane again by phone as well as his assistant Jonnie Cooksey.  I left the same messages on both of their voicemails as stated in the above paragraph dated February 1, 2012.
 
On Sunday, February 5, 2012, I contacted Shawn Kane again by phone.  However, I was aware that their office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays but I wanted to leave another message that I was trying to get a hold of someone.
 
On Monday, February 6, 2012, I have yet to receive any phone calls from either Shawn Kane or Jonnie Cooksey.  I called both of them again in the morning hours and left messages.  I also sent a letter via fax and email stating that I was not very happy with the way they were conducting business because no one would return my calls.  Later, Monday afternoon we received an email from Jonnie Cooksey stating they were honoring our contract until our unit was sold. 

This of course did not answer my question about the sale of our timeshare that they told us originally.  My husband immediately called after reading the email and Jonnie Cooksey answered the phone and was very nasty and ignorant to him.  She stated that she did not have any information about our timeshare and said in a nasty tone, "All I do here is make coffee" but did agree to writing the email she sent.  She then stated that Mr. Kane would not be in the office until Wednesday afternoon.

I then phoned Miss Cooksey and she was very nasty and ignorant to me as well and hung up on me numerous times.  I tried calling back to complain to her supervisor and was given to an office manager by the name Anthony.  Anthony was very rude and told me that I was wrong about Miss Cooksey and threatened to cancel my sale and stated they would not be refunding my money to me.  He also stated that Mr. Kane would be back in the office on Wednesday afternoon and for us to call him back and discuss this then hung up on me. 

I immediately called back to try and reach Shawn Kane again and miraculously Shawn Kane answered his phone.  We were told he wasnt in the office and now he is.  Mr. Kane stated to us he never told us our timeshare was sold.  He claims that he told us that they had a potential buyer for our property and will continue to push forward on trying to sell it.  Advertisement is not what we signed up for.  The sale of our timeshare is what we signed up for.  And now we are not receiving those services.
