Complaint Review: Resorts International Inc

I was contacted by Resorts International, Inc by Staci Chapman in regards to selling my timeshare.

She was very professional and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction.

She told me for 629.00 her company would sell my timeshare for around 20,000.00 and guaranteed they would sell it. 

She said they usually sold within 90 days and that they do trade shows all the time and advertise on the internet.  I looked at their web site and punched in my timeshare info and it showed many listed and many with a sold status or sale pending status. 

If it did not sell within 90 days they would continue to advertise my timeshare for me until it sold.

I took the bait when she guaranteed they would sell it although I should have asked her an absolute time frame that it would sell in.  I didn't do this because I was satisfied with her answers and that a guarantee is a guarantee.  Right?  Nope!  If you go to the home page on this web site now it says and I quote: "Regretfully the corporation officially dissolved on January 9th 2012. All inquiries from perspective buyers will be forwarded directly to timeshare owners.

The phone number and fax numbers have been removed and it only gives an email address to contact them.  I did that last week and have not received a reply and I know I will never receive one.

I want my 629.00 back and I will do whatever it takes to get it back.  I know there has to be hundreds of people out there that have been suckered into this scam.   Please make yourselves known so we can get a class action law suit going and get our money back.  I will also be making a complaint with the BBB.
