I paid $499.00 to Resorts International and Travel to advertise the sell/rent of my timeshare. Their contract states "Resorts International & Travel guarantees to have your property sold or rented with 180 days. If we don't, we will send you a voucher for a roundtrip vacation package of your choosing for two and continue marketing your property until sold or rented."

After 180 days of not hearing from the company, I tried in various occasions to contact them, nobody would return my phone calls.

I filed 2 complaints: One with Better Business Bureau of Florida on 11/12/06, and another one with Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services on 1/31/2007. Both departments contacted the company with no response from Resorts International & Travel.

The first person who contacted me on the phone and started all the lies was Joel Ansel. Next, Ted Gallagher, who claimed to be the new manager, called me on 12/11/06 after the first complaint, assured me that I will receive 3 vouchers instead of 2 for 4/3 night cruise aboard either Royal Caribbean or Carnival Cruise lines within 4-6 weeks. He promised 3 vouchers instead of 2 to make up for all the trouble I went through.

Ted Gallagher gave me his direct phone line 321-206-3362 extension 5566 to call him if I don't receive the vouchers. I never received any voucher. I left many messages and he never returned my calls.

Stop Resort International & Travel from all the lies.
