Complaint Review: resource capital mortgage

Resource Capital Mortgage-Jim McBride  was presented to our struggling company by a mortgage broker.  Jim puts on a good sales pitch that he can fund commercial loans that are in difficult situation, regardless of credit.  After spending approximately 6 hours gathering all information and sending it to Jim he stated he needed 1000 dollars upfront to start the process.  I told him I do not pay upfront fees and he assured me it was refundable and he would discount it to 600 dollars.  After he reviewed all documents and my credit he stated it would be no problem and he would fund within 45 days.  He asked me to disclose all info on businesses and properties which I did and he again he stated no problem.  After 100 days he has funded nothing and he even had the odacity to ask for a 16,000 deposit after he had accomplished nothing.  The guy is a conman and I hope his children read this to see what a bad person he is.  Needless to say, I asked for my refund and he said he would but off course it never did arrive.  Now we are trying to pick up pieces and save from losing the property.
