i purchased an extensive amount of furniture from restoration hardware. I was pressured by salesperson to utilize their credit card and the free financing for 12 months. Even though I made double and sometimes triple payments each month I was continually charged a $35 late fee. So, each month, I made a payment each 14 days - for double or triple of minimum due to insure I paid the balance off ASAP and minimize my total interest charges. Because my payments did not coincide with RH hardware's billing cycle, they charged me $35 and added that charge to the outstanding balance and charged 24.99% interest on the late fee. So in essence I was being penalized for paying early. Instead of accounting the second payment each month to the next billing cycle they accounted for it on the same billing cycle, mething if the payment was received prior to the second of each month, and the next payment was received after the 2nd I'd be charged a $35 fee. In one scenario they received my payment on September 1 and the next payment on September 4th- and charged me $35 late fee. Absolutely immoral. They got their $35 late fee but lost a customer for their expensive furniture for life.
