We payed off a debt to Lowes that we owed for 2917.00(actual debt 3085). We have all the paper work to prove we paid this debt to Sharrin and Lipshie, 300 Garden City Plaza Suit 506, Garden City,NY 11530. We worked very hard multiple jobs ,overtime to pay off our debts and not to claim bancrupcy, this was in June 2006.

Now we are being harrassed by debt collectors saying we still owe this same exact amount to them, apparently or supposedly they bought it from GE Capitol.

We disputed the Northstar Location Services,LLC by sending all of our proof of payment to them and they sent it back to LVNV Funding LLC who apparently sold it to Resurgent Capital Services,LP. Somewhere some one is trying to rip us off.

If someone can figure out this strange chain of events please let us know. Anyway we'll be happy to see these jerks in court and I'll be happy to see them pay us for our lost wages, mental anguish and gas to court as we live along way from a county court house.

Make sure you continually check your credit reports. LVNV has been re-reporting old debts and re-aging them, making them look like new accounts and listing themselves as "factoring company". It's hard work getting them off the credit reports, even though they are violating lots of rules.

Does anyone out there have any info about the "factoring company" entry?
