Purchased the High School Musical Loft bed for our 6 yr. old for her brand new room in our brand new home on 8-31-09. Full purchase, no financing. We were told it would be 5 weeks for delivery. Thought it was a bit long, but she really wanted it. She marked everyday off her calendar. 

Had to call the store on the fifth week only to be told it would be 3 more weeks due to our location. Our sales rep promises he will call back. No return call. Next call, he promises to speak to his manager. No return call. By now we have contacted the store as well customer service daily. Then we are told the bed is in a warehouse in Dallas, but there no truck coming to our area until the 23rd. With a little firmness we got a delivery date of 10-16-09. 

Take a day off of work to be here during the "4 hour window" of 9am to 1pm. Receive a phone call that the truck is broken down and we will be notified 1 hour prior to delivery. The truck arrives at 4pm and the assembly team begins. They immediately are stopped because there is NO hardware to assemble the bed! Called the store manager, he has no idea of the difficulty of our order. He cannot promise the hardware or a complete order by any specific date so we opt to refuse the delivery entirely while our little cries in front yard.
