In December of 2001 there was a fraudulent charge to my RNB Marshall fields card 600 miles away from where I was. I disputed this and RNB sent me copies of the receipts. The person charging to my account didn't even make the effort to sign my name. They used some other name. After disputing this multiple times, RNB finally agreed to take this off and promised to clear my credit history.

Ten months later I went to refinance my mortgage and found that I still had a negative credit rating from RNB due to them not clearing the late payment history for and account they cleared. I have been going back and forth with all three credit reporting agencies and RNB for 2 months trying to clear this issue.
