I am in the miltary. I got a statement from Retailers National Bank that I never paid them. So I called them and told them i was oversea's and that I would pay them. So i payed just over 325.00 dollars. Then I get a letter in the mail almost a year later saying that my payment was late and that I had owed so much money on late payments. Now I find out that my credit is bad and I looked for a number to call this Retailers Bank and there is no number to fix this sitituation.

I think this is a rip off that they can mess up someone's credit and if I am oversea's in the miltary serving my country that people like that can rip me off. If your oversea's you don't get mail or if you send out mail will it get out on time.

Plus I paid it in full so why is this company charging me late fee's if it was paid full? I say Rip off

Ok think about it if you are overseas how long did you know you were going ahead of time it had to have been atleast a few months why didn't you get your bills squared away. only someone with a brain would be able to remember that. I work for target and have a credit card through retailers national bank and i think it is a great card. How many credit cards do you have that you can walk in to a store and shop and also pay your credit card bill right there and than and its post to your account right then.
