Retroplex Contractors incomplete job. Took the money and ran! Master of the disappearing act, Internet
Donny Benedict came to me via a designer, and with his reservations. I am largely satisfied with my kitchen remodel, however the job has never been fully completed, and there was an electrical revision made by his crew that resulted in elimination of power to my carport , therefore I have no lighting now in my parking area. Donny committed to come to address these 2 issues, then stood me up. Since then he has been impossible to reach either by phone or email. It was likewise my experience that he requested cash, in installments, and always requested his installments early. My mistake to accomodate him ! It seems some his challenge lies with his crew, some of whom ruined my Ikea materials. Fortunately the Designer insisted he replace them which must have cost him out of pocket. Basically I would report that Donny is not who he appears to be at first presentation, his crew was inexperienced, work is rushed and frequently bungled, and he is not interested in completing a job if he has already been paid. No lighting in my carport is now a safety issue for me, and I have no idea where to begin to address it. I do not recommend Retroplex Construction .
