I decided to sign up at Reunion.com to find some old friends. I wanted to use the free membership option and I am SO glad that I was paying attention to what I was doing!

After I gave them my basic info (Name, birth date, email addy) it took me to another screen asking me to sign in to my Yahoo!, Hotmail, etc., account using my email password so that they could invite all of my email contacts. I thought "Hell no!" and got out of there. They will SPAM every person on your email contact list if you don't read very carefully and pay attention to what you are doing

Also don't be fooled into signing up for a paid membership. I did a generic people search on their site and thought I had found an old friend, but a box asking me to buy a membership was partially obscuring the information. But I saw enough of my friend's so called "profile" to know that there is no real profile for my friend there, just the same kind of information you would get at other B.S. pay sites that will provide an address and phone number if you pay them after giving you a tiny bit of "teaser" information like city and state to scam you into buying a membership.

Reunion.com is playing the bait and switch game folks. Better off just doing a Google search or phoning information to find your old friends.
