Complaint Review: Reunion.com

I used this online reunion service this morning and was disappointed by their business practices. You sign up for either a 1 or 3 year service agreement and pay with a credit card. What they don't tell you is that if you click on any additional links on their search page - you are charged additional money. You are "informed" of the additional charges once your browser reaches the linked page.

I feel that this is a VERY deceptive practice and opinions about these type of services would benefit the public in making informed decisions. The name of the company is reunion.com

I contacted their help "service" desk and asked that my cc# not be linked to the account, as I have small children that could play with the computer. "Not our problem--make sure you are logged out" It is my cc and I should be able to dictate how it is used. I have cotacted American Express and hope that they can help me at their end. BEWARE of this company.
