Complaint Review: Revel Studios INC "Rob Anderson"

I hired Revel Studios in 2010 and again in 2011, to produce websites and animated graphics for my design firm in San Francisco.  All of the work produced by Rob and crew was outstanding, delivered on time, at a fair price, and exactly as advertised and had been expected.  I've never known Rob Anderson or anyone else at Revel Studios to behave in any of the ways the author of this claim states and I believe this report to be false.

My name is Maria Friederichs and I am the Owner of Rally Girls INC. My partner Kristen Hendrickson and I have been working with Rob Anderson and Revel Studios with a reality t.v. project :Bikes and Belles" for the last year. The whole production was funded by Rob Anderson and this project from the start of this collaboration. In no way shape or form has Rob Anderson been abusive, violent, or unprofessional in this project. I personally have known Rob for the last 3 years, and have been working with Rob on the project for the last year in Las Vegas, NV. He has been a great asset to this project and a wonderful guide in helping me with business decisons. It has been a great business relationship and he has been very professional with me and as my business partner. The accusations that were said in this ripoffreport.com are not true and totally false. Rob is a great person and does not deserve to be falsely accused by this person. I will continue to uphold and support my business with Rob. He is a great guy.

This original report is ridiculously exaggerated to the point where the only thing that actually is true is the name of the company and its owner.  Everything past that is complete lies.

I was present helping my friend Rob with his project, "Bikes and Belles."  This project was completely funded and produced by him and his production company.  At NO time did he present any thoughts or actions that would represent fraud, scam, and violence.  He had all of the best intentions for all parties involved; including, but not limited to myself, the cast, all people that were part of the project, and the locations of our shoot.

The individual who wrote this report had no invested interest in this project, other than a relationship with one of the cast members.  Completely unprovoked he questioned the validity of the project, and then physically assaulted Rob.  Completely unprovoked and unnecessary.

It's honestly a shame that this happened.  Rob did not ask or intend for anything like this to happen, it was forced upon him from a person beyond his control.  And despite the unfortunate circumstances, he handled it all very professionally.  He is a very good businessman and colleague, and a great person overall.

I wanted to state that as a FEMALE and full partner with Rob Anderson, not only are all these accusations made by "Jake" completely false but they are also absolutely ridiculous and unfounded.  As a partner, I am intimately linked to all of our projects and as a woman I can firmly say that Rob Anderson has NEVER scammed or attempted to scam anyone, much less "verbally abused" females.


It's extremely insulting to me as a female and should be to all enterprising women, when claims such as these are made to hurt an individual who is actually the complete opposite, an individual who EMPOWERS women in a man's business world.  Rob Anderson has personally invested in many female-run endeavors, and I cannot believe that a person such as "Jake"(not his real name) would try to cripple our opportunities by attempting to take away an amazing investor and crusader of and for female projects.


The incident that caused this "Jake" to write this fraudulent report was actually reported to me, and I was fully aware of all the details, including a police report filed by Rob Anderson detailing the assault in Myrtle Beach, So. Carolina, in which Rob is the victim of assault...NOT "a very violent person" as "Jake" would lead you to believe.


Lastly I wanted to point out that Revel Studios is in fact NOT a reality production company, and has never claimed to be, it is a think-tank and interactive solutions company...in fact the ONLY true thing that "Jake" has written is that the company is located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

My name is Rob Anderson and Revel Studios is my company, in partnership with Kendra Haney.  This report is obviously a clear case of defamation and libel.  Not a single word of it is true.

The real author of this report is someone that physically assaulted, while intoxicated, myself and my production crew, while filming on location in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  The assault and subsequent police report was filed in Horry County, South Carolina on May-20 at 11:30 PM.  About 2 days before this ripoff was filed.

In short, while we were filming our television pilot, this (drunk) person started a fight with us, threw a sucker punch and, in response to their continued aggression, we were then forced to kick their a*s and call the cops to clean up after.  This person's girlfriend, who was also present, along with a half dozen other witnesses during the altercation, subsequently dumped this guy as a direct result.

What we have here now is a vindictive and retaliatory posting in an effort to attempt gross harm to me (again), my business, and the welfare of my family.  It's not enough they started a completely unnecessary physical fight with me, now they want to harm everyone else too.

Revel Studios is not a "reality TV production" company.  I am not a producer.  I am a Creative Director and my company, Revel Studios, is an interactive and marketing agency with almost 7 years of proud service to a roster of clients that includes numerous Fortune-class corporations, celebrities, small businesses through-out the United States, and more.

The production I was associated with -- and is made reference in this fraudulent report -- was called BIKES & BELLES, a reality TV show pilot for THE RALLY GIRLS, INC.  The pilot was invested and fully funded by me personally, including almost all expenses for cast and crew.  Maria Friederichs and her partner Kristen "Kikeh" Hendrickson are the principles of THE RALLY GIRLS INC, and remain my continued friends and clients.  They were also present during the altercation and are aware of this person, along with the false statements made here.

In sum, we are now going to sue this person for their illegal and false statements and have already started that process by requesting a records subpoena from Maricopa County, Arizona (RipOffReport.com's business place), in order to obtain his complete record of activity on this site and elsewhere.  Rest assured, this will happen.  Further, we are hiring RipOffReport.com arbitrators to successfully prove the statements made here are false and vindicate my business from this nonsense.  Also, I had reserved the right to file civil suit for the assault in May and will probably execute that option as well.

This person attempted to physically harm me, my business, and my family (which includes a newborn baby daughter born just 2 weeks prior to the assault).
