Complaint Review: Revival Interiors LLC

John claims to be the Ikea Kitchen expert.. He was furnished a Full Material List to install my Ikea cabinets and countertops several days prior to beginning the job in July. He said he wanted time to go over all that needed to be done, and the design, etc..

I sent him the Actual purchase list directly from the Ikea website, along with the design, sales receipt, list of every item I had purchased including the appliances.   He cut the countertops for the wrong stove to be installed without checking which I had purchased.   See photo..   When I asked him to correct it he told me to go buy a new countertop- which I did. He then told me that I would have to pay him to come and fix his error because I told him the wrong stove.. This is not my area of expertise and I never told him anything about the stove- I gave him the Ikea purchase list!

However because I was desperate I  scheduled an appt with him to fix it, and he never showed up, or called, or emailed.

I called him last week because the house is almost done and he said he was booked out and I would have to wait until October for him to come and fix it..   When I got upset with him he hung up on me!!  This job was done in July, and I was trying to get the house on the market to sell in August which he was fully aware of..  

John also asked me to pay him in Cash when the job was done- I wonder if the IRS knows that?   I have been more than patient with John and given him opportunities to "own" his mistake and make it right, and since he chooses not to do so I am pursuing all avenues to get the word out about him, and his business ethics..  

I highly recommend using anyone BUT Revival Interiors and John Johnson for your Kitchen Install, or any other job.. He is shady in his business dealings and once he gets paid he does not care about the customer!!!
