Firstly, I'm an international customer(Singapore).

I have received a damaged item. I have contacted them
through email with PICTURES of the damage item and was told that the item needs
to be shipped back in order to have my money refunded. I was also told to find
the cheapest available postage carrier to send the item from Singapore back to
their warehouse. After exhausting 2 hours of my time, calling and searching
online, I found the cheapest available option, which costs usd65. This is the
only local and national postage company based in Singapore, and it is the
cheapest available shipping option.


However, I was told that they have a maximum limit of usd40
for the shipping fee reimbursement. They told me that it is possible to ship
with a cost of usd40 using my local carrier since they told me that people from
my country have done so before. Clearly, this is an outrageous claim as I have
called and searched thoroughly, and the cheapest is usd65. Also, I have
provided the links, rates and contact number of my national carrier to inform
them that usd40 is impossible as the bag already weights ard 600-700g &
with the box, it will cost me atleast USD65.

Given the facts and figures, they insist that they will only reimburse USD40 of my shipping fee returns. Clearly, they are forcing me to accept the damaged item they have sent it. Total scam from their company, thinking they can use this trick to get away with an international customer.

This is frustrating as I have tried all ways I could to
accommodate to their request. They asked for my local postage carrier as they
believed it is the cheapest option. I agreed, followed their procedures and
sent them the correct rates of the shipment. I have even provided them links
and contact no to the postage company, yet they still insist that they will
only reimburse me usd40 of the return shipping fee. They are giving me no
options, forcing me out of my hand. Just feel that they are scamming
international customer this way.
