In May of 2003 we bought a vehicle from Reynolds Auto Group in Durant, Oklahoma. A year later we started having problems with it. After yet another year of trying to get something done, we finally got Chrysler to buy that lemon back.

We cancelled the extended warranty on the Dodge and was given the refund from that policy. At the same time we cancelled the life and disability policy. For two months when we would call to enquire about it, they would state that when it came in, they would cut us a check for that amount.

We got the check on 9-14-05 in the amount of $559.09. We put it in the bank that day. The next day my husband recieved a call that he had to return it and that it didn't belong to us, it belonged to Chrysler because what should have been paid off wasn't that the money was to go towards the rest of the payoff.

I called Chrysler and they said the only amount that was required was a little over $33.00. They did show where they did recieve the check in the amount of $559.09, but it was sent in as a rebate.

They also stated that since we paid for the life/disability insurance that we were due that amount. In their system, it showed that the policy was never canceled? Yet, on all our things it shows that this was a refund amount for the cancelation of the policy.

Hmm, the dealership will no longer acecpt calls from either my husband or myself. Last time I called, I was hung up on. He's tried calling and the person we've been speaking with on this has never been there...no return call either.

We have been ripped off by this dealership a couple of times now. First when they sold us a lemon (I can't see where that is entirely their fault though, I mean, we did buy the truck with only 8 miles on it), then now when they took our money and gave it to chrysler financial (that IS ENTIRELY THEIR FAULT).
