Unfortunately, when you write up a report it's already too late... same with me. I too got scammed by the infamous Italian "RGA Report" clothing representative.

Same old story: some slick looking mediterranian type driving drives me by on a supermarket car parking in Mechelen, (Belgium, Europe) and asks for the directions to the Brussels International Airport. He then drives on, but stops after a couple of meters and says something like "because you've been so kind to me, I'll give you some clothing samples. You see, I'm a representative and have been to a clothing convention."

Well, sounds nice enough, so I walk over to his car. He shows me the stuff, and says: "these jackets cost 895 euro apiece. I'll give you 3 jackets and one suit, you can have them for the price of one jacket. You see, taking them back with me to Italy will cost a lot of luggage tax. Besides, I want to buy a present for my wife at the tax free shop at the airport.""

I don't really need any of this, but figure it's good stuff which can be resold for at least the same price, and he seemed legitimate enough: he gave a business card, showed me his passport, a flying ticket, and a catalogue of the "RGA Report" clothing line. His car, a dark grey Skoda Octavia Combi had a big sticker labeled "Diesel" on the fuel tank cover, so it clearly appeared to be a rental car.

Tried to resist, after all, I'm not really into leather jackets... He then asks: "Well, how much do you offer? What would be your ultimate price?
Long story short: bought 3 jackets for the price of 350 euros, went home, did a little research on the internet, and now I'm stuck with this worthless counterfeit junk!

"If it's too good to be true..."
