Complaint Review: Rga Reportage

I got the "Armani designer" guy who foams at the mouth when he speaks. His story: got drunk and blew 20 grand at the casino and didn't have any cash left to pay for his rental SUV he did look like he was hung over). Said he was leaving for Italy that night (had "documents" to prove what he was saying). In his charming, broken english he declared that he was Catholic and would never rip anyone off. Showed me the three necklaces with crosses on them hanging around his neck to emphasize the point (what a complete *&*& I am). Didn't want to sell me his suede and leather jackets- he wanted to give them to me as a gesture of "friendly" as he put it.

Looking back on it now, I can see all the holes in his story and actions but at the time he seemed very convincing, very earnest. Even now, I am not so much angry at him but pissed at myself- I want to kick my own a*s. The $225 I lost isn't unbearable but this being my first experience with a true con artist is pretty shocking. I used to think I was smarter than this. d**n those charming Euros.

PS- Does anyone know if these jackets are worth anything at all?
