I was approached by an Italian man on 10/17/08 around a little after 7 P.M. in NYC on 3rd Avenue between 25th and 26th Street. He was driving a Volvo. He called himself Salvatore. He was 'polished', well groomed and well dressed.

This is the same story as many on this website i see...
Originally he was looking for directions to the airport. After i gave him directions he began to scam me blind as he did to everyone else on this website.
He claimed he came from an expo of Giorgio Armani and was soon headed back to Italy. He had many jackets left over to which he did not want to pay an importing tax and wanted to sell them to me cheap.
Initially i was very reluctant, but man this guy was good. We ended up making a deal and i only realized they were fake after i showed them to my sister when i got home.
I only wish I had given this man cash but it was even worse than that. I was in a rush and didn't have time to run to the ATM so I ended up giving him my gold bracelet, worth atleast $500 today if not more. I've had that bracelet my entire life and gave it up for a couple of fake jackets. I'm sick to my stomach.

Salvatore, if thats your real name, if you are reading this i pray you will have a heart to call me. I'd gladly give you $1000 in return for that bracelet, it meant a lot to me. You were good & you caught me off guard with your charm as im sure you've done to many.
Everyone else on this website wants to have you arrested. I dont agree, im a big believer in "its immoral to let a fool keep his money". Well, you were pretty good and i was a fool, so i deserve it. But Im asking you to please work something out with me, i will arrange $1000 for you if we could work out a way to return that bracelet to me.
Please, please, please contact me at (((ROR redacted))). Its fairly obvious why you wouldn't take me up on this offer but we could figure out a way that we wouldn't have to meet and we wouldn't have to see each other . If you have a soul or at least just want to make a thousand dollars please contact me. (((ROR redacted)))
