Complaint Review: RGS Financial

RGS Financial Unprofessional and seems to get extremely upset when we denied there claims and asked for proof. All we received was a document emailed to us which they had typed up on that day!! Richardson, Texas

Called my home on Wed. 9 November. Asked for me by my maiden name which I have used since 1998. Rep began asking about an account she claimed was opened in 1999. Listed 4 different company names.

Supposedly it was bought out several times. I told her I didn't know what she was talking about and would pay anything because I pulled my credit report in June and there is no such account present. She claimed it was.

I asked her to mail me what information she has and I will verify it for myself but I will not pay for something that isn't my debt. She said okay! On Thurs. 11 Nov she called back. This time my husband answered.

He starting questioning her. She then transferred him to her manager who became very upset and began to yell and raise his voice my husband kept calm and kept trying to get information out of him. He never calmed down until my husband threaten to get an attorney and file harrasment charges.

My husband said if it is our debt (which believed it was not), we will pay it. I've been pulling my report annually and have credit monitoring with Creditscore.com every since 2007 when I lost my SS card. Therefore, I knew that account wasn't there.

But I paid $30 and pulled all 3 reports again. As I we knew, it wasn't there. As I knew they would, they called and harrassed us again on Veterans Day. My husband and I are USAF veterans.

I let them know they did not submit efficient proof and that neither of the account names that had given me was present on my credit report. Mr. WIlliams then began saying they don't owe burden of proof. I said well if you want to get paid...you do!!!

He then began saying we will not that you refused to pay. I let him know that I never used those words. That I've been asking for documanetation and proof in this matter. I informed them that if I owed what they claim I owe there should be proof!!!

I let him know that we would be going to our military legal office on Monday about this matter. Because as military members we are trained on fraud and just because they called my house saying I owe them means nothing. I will do what legal suggest I do in this matter.
