The information provided below has been sent as part of our coutinuing effort to keep you informed of potential service or product related issues.

Subject: Pilot Tube breaking on split system heat pump reversing valves

Models: Under investigation

We have had reports of the pilot tubes breaking on the reversing valve of some split system heat pumps. If you have received repost of this issue we would like to know about it. Please report this to your DTR along with the model and serial number of any effected units. If at all possilble, please obtain a digital photo of the reported issue so we can have a better understanding of exactly where thies tubes are breaking.

NOTE: A DIGITAL PHOTO OF A RANCO HEAT PUMP REVERSING VALVE WAS DISPLAYED IN THIS PART OF THE DOCUMENT.
