Ria's Positive Black Images ripoff dishonest fraudulent company stole my money Troy New York
This can all be explained so much easier by my emails to and from Rita of Rita's Positive black images. First of all I paid for some items for my husband totaling $47.85. I placed the order for a gift for valentines day. I recieved the email from paypal:
Dear (my name),
This email confirms that you have paid Ria's Positive Black Images (avam1965@aol.com) $47.85 USD using PayPal.
This credit card transaction will appear on your bill as "PAYPAL *RIASPOSITIV".
My first correspondence with Rita was 2/23/04 after not recieveing my order:
Hi I ordered the Masonic rock glasses and costers in the beginning of February. The funds were paid and taken from my account 2/5/04 I still have not received anything. Please give me a status of my order.
on 2/25/04 I also sent this:
Here is the information you may need to track my order. Please note the date I ordered these items ... they were supposed to be a valentines day gift for my husband.

I cut and paste my paypal confirmation below of the items I ordered and the total including shipping.
Rita them emailed this back:
Greetings,
Please except my sincere apology for the non-delivery of your items. Due to a malfunction of my system, I am just in receipt of your order. I will forward your items as soon as possible.
Once again, I am deeply sorry for the inconvenience.

Two weeks later I sent her this:
Hello again,
I have still not received my items ordered from your web site. Below is the last correspondence from you dated Feb. 28th stating my items would be sent. It has been another 2 weeks from that date and I still have no items. If for some reason this order can't be filled I would like a full refund. I originally ordered the items for my husband as a valentines day gift. Below I have added your email reply to me and my PayPal confirmation with order information.

Masonic Coasters were sent out on March 15. Enclosed in your package is a refund check in the amount of $37.90, which includes shipping and handling.

Again It has been 2 more weeks and I still have not received anything.
Below is your last message to me that the coasters and refund check were placed in the mail on March 15th.
April 5th she sent:
Greetings,
I am very sorry about this. Unfortunately, my mother has passed and I am an only child. She was sick for the past four weeks and I had to be her caretaker. Your package will be mailed in tomorrow's mail with a complete refund, along with your item.
I am so sorry for this inconvenience.

I am sincerely sorry for your loss. I myself just returned from a funeral of a relative. I see your message was sent to me April 5th. I got all my mail and other packages but did not receive anything from you. Do I need to investigate this with the post office?

Then on April 26th I sent this and never got a response, my item ordered or a refund check:

It's me again. I still have not received anything. I'm at the point I just want a full refund.
I ordered my items in late January/February and Paid in full. It is really not appropriate behavior for a business to not fill my order and send it in a timely manner or send a refund in a timely manner and 4 months is not timely.
I am getting very disgusted with this whole matter and will soon be looking for alternative avenues to receiving my refund. As I stated in my first correspondence with you I ordered these items for my husband as a Valentines day gift. It's a shame because I planned to order more items at a later date but know now I never will and would discourage anyone from the way this transaction has been handled.
Enough is enough !! Please send my full refund immediately !!
I have lost my money... and recieved no products still today close to 1 year later. Rita never responded to any of my emails since she said the item was shipped with a refund for the one they didn't carry any longer then she said she was going to put it in the mail at a later date. She had clearly Lied and Ripped me off!!
