Richard Atashian ripoffs, unable to locate anywhere in Connecticut where address is at. Has fraud written all over it! New Britain Connecticut
Received several offers all from the same person. One is for home assembly, one for envelope stuffing and one for grants that they will help you get. When I did search on the internet to see if this person showed up as being in New Britain there was no listing for him. Of Coarse each of the offers requires some kind of money to get started.
Prices range from $27.00 to $49.00. None of the three offers have business names just the name Richard Atashian. The only Atashian that showed up in New Britain, CT was a John Atashian, the address was not even close to either of the addresses being used on the offers and this man is a photographer and owns a photograpy business. I put in both addresses with the name and searched the yellow pages for New Britain and the search came back with no entry found.
This would appear to be someone who is either using a false name or lives somewhere else and has purchased po boxes in New Britain in order to run his scam and have those who are trusting enough fall for it and then not be able to locate him in order to get our money back. Just be careful if you receive offers from this man. I am writing him a letter and requesting personal contact from this person and if they wont contact me and give me more pertainent information about themselves then they are definitely a scam. I will keep you posted and if this turns out to be the real thing, which I highly doubt, then I will correct this entry.

I checked the New Britain phone book - no listing. HOWEVER, if you punch in his last name at Switchboard.com you will find seven entries. He could be using his middle name "Richard" as a first name. Between the help from the post office and Switchboard.com you should be able to find this guy. Also, to confirm an address, just punch in the phone number into Google.com and a comlete address will appear. Good luck!

If you take the letter (of any company or individual that is doing business through a post office), to the Post Office, they should be able to get you any information on the company or party. New laws require companies to put down a physical location. In this case it sounds like he is not using a company name, however, if you take the letter, it will show he is conducting business and may release this information or start an investigation.
