I attempted to finance a vehicle through cornerstone acceptance. Big big mistake... 1st, I was sold a lemon that would cut off at any time. Within the 10 day love it or leave it policy the car dealership jocked me around about fixing the car. Long story short the car was never fixed and I left the vehicle. Well, about 2 months later, corner stone wanted me to pay $3000 to settle the dept. I explained to them the situation with the car. They said OK we will auction it off and you would have to pay the balance wicheck was approx $3000. I failed to pay because I had the vehicle for less than 10 days. They sued me and got a judgement for a little over $7000. They garnished my wages until it was paid. A month later the same attorney comes neck for another $8000 saying I owed Inearest on the $7000 judgement. Paid thsy, now the same attorney has recently come back to garnish for another $9000. He's saying that cornerstone is making him do it but I know from speaking with other attorneys that it's a choice. I also found out that this particular attorney targets state emoyees. I'm not the only one he does this to. I can only imagine how many other people he's doing this to. It's always the same judge who signs off on these judgements . My problem with Richard C.Dean is that he will make sure you don't receive your summons for court so a judgment can be automatically placed again st you. I went into his office to speak with him about this and he asked for my current address because I argued I never received a summons for the 2nd judgement. So he cannot say that he does not have my current address. I have a sneaky suspicion that that are doing crooked things.

Get a consumer attorney to represent you

I don't know how this debt attorney can get 3 judgments against you for the same debt. And, you said the first judgment and the second judgment have been paid.  Get a consumer attorney to represent you.  Not an attorney that represents creditors.  Something isn't right. If you get a sharp enough attorney this attorney that is coming back again and again may have to pay penalties to you. Don't do this on your own.
