Richard J. (d**k) Colon is / was president of a gang made up largely of ex-convicts calling themselves the White House Boys. They set up a phony lawsuit against the state of Florida which had no chance of success in seeking relief, and any reputable lawyer could have told you so, and did tell me. They wanted compensation for abuses they suffered at the hands of state paid agents in the 1950s and 1960s. They claim they want to make sure child abuse at the hands of the state will rear its ugly head no more. They claim they were severely beaten by a one-armed man named Troy Tidwell. The fact is in 1965 - 66 the strappings given by Mr. Tidwell were mild and light, about as he described in his video deposition.
Richard J. Colon AKA d**k Colon committed criminal assault, battery, and aggravated felony child abuse at the Days Inn in Orlando, Florida across fom the main gate of Universal Studios on September 26, 2009, around 6:00 p.m. He did so in front of witnesses. His attack was cowardly, akin to shooting a man in the back, and children were his victims too---two little girls aged eight and nine.
The police were called, and as always they blew it. No arrest. Colon, a man who made a lot of money in the construction trades, went free. I wonder who he was paying off.
His attitude was he thought he was exempt from the law.
Born as I was in Florida in 1949 and raised here, I can honestly say that many many crimes committed in this state went unprosecuted through the aiding and abetting of criminal acts by police and courts.
