Complaint Review: Richard Martin Viele

January of 2003 I loan Richard M. Viele a friend to one of my family members, for a credit check and down payment on his apartment in San Diego California. Shortly there after we became intimately involved and he told me on many occasions that he wanted to have a future with and that the money he owed me was going to be put in a savings account for OUR FUTURE TOGETHER. Over the next 2 years whenever he would borrow something from me or I would leave something at his apartment, he would keep it saying that he was saving it for OUR FUTURE TOGETHER.

During this time he also mentioned us saving for OUR FUTURE TOGETHER and putting money in a savings and matching what each other puts in. So the summer of 2005 he said he would put my name on his savings account and I was going to and did put money into this account. Because we were told that if he put my name on his savings account it would be linked up with my personal account I shared with another person that it would not be a good idea, and instead just signed the check I planned to deposit over to him for him to put into his account.

In May of this year I noticed some money that was taken out of my account and when I called the bank they said it was taken out to covered insufficient funds in Richard Viele's account and that it was not a savings account but a checking account. I then checked all my statements and noticed that money had been coming out of my account into his account for a year and when I said something to him about it he just laughed it off.

After some digging, I've found out that he never had any plans of having any kind of future with me and was using me, and is seeing other women telling them the same things he was telling and refuses to return my things or give me back any of the money he took from me.
