As emailed to salesman Patrick Reece at RICK CASE HYUNDAI, Ft. Lauderdale FL 33317

Good afternoon Patrick,
You said if I had any questions, to direct them to you.
Question: why is it that you told me wife and I that we would get $5,000.00 off the price of the car
and $1,500.00 for our trade-in. That total would equal $6,500.00

Now as you read down the Retail Purchase Agreement I see the &1,500.00 for the trade-in but I
only see $3,750 for the rebate. Why is there a difference of $1,250.00?
and keep in mind that you never mentioned it was a particular model vehicle. You said $5,000.00
You told my wife and I the rebate was $5,000.00 plus an additional $1,500.00 for the trade-in.
You and Rick Case made good on the trade-in but deceived us on the money value off the price of the
car.

We Trusted you and both my wife and I felt good about doing business with you and Rick Case Hyundai.
Maybe I should direct this to the Federal Fair Act Laws and the State of Florida Agency Complaint Group that help
to protect the consumer against fraud. Give me your explanation in detail of why the deception and the two different amounts.

I wonder if I should involve Rick Case himself. Email addresses are easy enough to find.

Thank you
Jose A. Tuero

I have leased and purchased vehicles from Rick Case dealerships (Acura, Honda, and just yesterday Hyundai) for about 25 years. While car buying is never a great experience, Rick Case makes it as close as possible.  Sales reps throw out pricing, their sales manager brings it back to earth, that's the way the "game" is played.  I wouldn't buy from any other dealer.

Which means that YOU DIDNT READ BEFORE YOU SIGNED!!!! You wont be getting ANY traction with them AFTER the paperwork is signed. Its a done deal unless you have an escape clause built into the contracts. This is just one of those instances where something was slipped by you and YOU AGREED TO IT!!! After the fact YOU can claim its unfair but THEY have YOUR signature on the paperwork. So its a done deal. Your only recourse is to get a lawyer and see if you can fight it. Otherwise its YOUR WORD vs. THIER WORD and THEY have paperwork with YOUR signature on it to confirn that YOU AGREED to the contracts involved. ALWAYS read what ANYONE asks YOU to sign.
