I was working for Ride Medical for 3 months before I caught on. They have asked some drivers for an upfront fee of 375-475. They will tell you that you will start recieving payments 30-45 days from that transport but they won't pay you at all. They will just string you along and say they haven't recieved payment yet. Once their dispatchers catch on to what they are doing they will usually quit or if they say something to managment get released. But when you ask for that specific dispatcher, they will say they are out "sick" that day even though they just started less than two months ago.
You can find their adds on craigslist saying you will make over 300 dollars per transport and conduct pseudo interviews in hotels or malls. Then they will inspect you vehicle and try to take all the copies of the paperwork you fill out with them.

#1. File a claim with the California Department of Labor Standards for unpaid wages:

#2. You were not an "Independent Contractor." You were an employee. The IC claim is a lie. File a tax fraud report with the California Employment Development Department. There's a hotline but filing the on-line form is best:

I drove for the company since april and its been 5 months and the company not only didn't pay me bt it's no longer in business.Their fancy website is no longer active and their main phone lines are now disconnected. I spent over $2000 in gas and other expenses. If someone out there knows anything ,or if there's a class lawsuit against this sham company plz let us know.

I had exactly the same experience as the first guy. This company is a total sham. Not only did I not get paid, they were supposed to send me a "bonus check" for transportting a patient at the last minute. I did thinking they'd send the check right away. Not only did it take me weeks to get the "bonus" check, when I did, IT BOUNCED!
Anyone who wishes to sue these guys with me, let's get together and sue these a-holes!
Oh, by the way, these guys are the same guys that run Patient Care Transport. Same company!! Search ripoffreport and look for Patient Care Transport, the ex-employees there have the same problem(s)!
