Complaint Review: Ridgid Tools - Home Depot

Bought a 1/2" Spade Drill. Used it twice and drill locked up and control/electric switch handle brook. Home Depot nor Ridgid would not replace or repair. Had to pay Home Depot to send for repairs and then tech determined the drill was dropped and therefore misused and not under warranty. A bunch of bull. Gave another autorized location to take tool for 2nd opinion and company wouldn't even look at the tool. Service company refused servicing any Ridgid tool because they won't pay for warranty repairs. Ridgid repeatedly send me an email apologizing and nothing else. Will never buy from Home Depot nor buy Ridgid tools. Home Depot won't even honor as well.

Ridgit and Home Depot won't back up their warranty on Ridgid products.
