Complaint Review: Riggs Brothers

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS IF YOU VALUE YOUR EXPENSIVE INVESTMENT! I had been a customer of Jim Riggs since 1988. Riggs Brothers was the go to place for all your aftermarket, custom and window tinting needs. They “used to” do phenomenal work. The last time I had them tint a car of mine was quite a long time ago, 2009. It came out great. Well this time around that wasn’t the case. I brought my Charger Hellcat to them for a complete tint job including the whole windshield with upper shade strip.

The new tint guys they now have at Riggs literally caused over 9000.00 worth of damages  to my car. They scratched glass with  improper razor blades, nicked and marred my interior trim panels, scratched my roof up with hard plastic squeegees. Once again,,,improper tool! They marred my leather seats while rubbing up against them with whatever tools they were using. Scratched up my entire trunk area, even cracking my wicker Bill from leaning their fat asses all up against it. Talk about a bull in a china shop!  I asked them to remove their shoes while climbing all around the back seat area. That request went ignored.

Nothing at all was covered on my car ahead of time to prevent such extensive damages. My door sills have scratches everywhere from the bottom of their shoes while standing on them. And just to be clear. My Hellcat is a show car! Not a daily driver. There was 4 different hacks working on my car from 830 in the morning until after closing time, approximately 530pm. They re tinted back window 3 different times and still couldn’t get it right. Normally it takes a professional tinter no more than 2 to 3 hours to tint an entire car. Riggs took off my rear view mirror to tint windshield, which you never do and don’t need to do! Then the dumba*s couldn’t figure out how to reinstall it! It took Kevin Riggs 45 minutes to figure it out.

He claims there’s a special trick to it, and the first jag off that took it off was gone for the day. What absolute IMBECILES!  And just for reference, I later found out Naperville Dodge, Jeep, Chyrsler, Ram stopped using Riggs Brothers because of repeated complaints of damages to customers cars. Jim Riggs told me to get estimate and he would have his insurance company pay for the damages. Well the next day he changed his story,,,,, telling me to submit claim to my insurance company and his insurance would reimburse mine, WTF ! Is that???? Jim Riggs, John Riggs and the inept nephew Kevin Riggs are absolute COWARDS!

They even told me not to contact them anymore or else they would file a police report for Harassment. These guys are low class, low down SCUMBAGS! I would consider them DOMESTIC TERRORISTS to your expensive investment. I am putting a complaint of what they did to me on Ripoff report.com don’t fall for these idiots B.S. they claim they work on Lamborghinis. Lmfao!  Riggs Brothers are “HAS BEENS”!
