Hello. While we did not allow ourselves to be ripped off by this dealership it is important to advise fellow consumers to expect abusive, hard sell sales tactics when dealing with this dealership. My spouse and I are in the market for a new car and wanted to test drive a few vehicles before making a final decision. We were out driving around a few evenings ago and decided to stop by Right Toyota to look at some vehicles and ask to test drive them. We test drove a Matrix and a Camry Solara. Both very nice cars. We thanked them and made it clear we were not going to make a purchase that evening. The salesman we originally dealt with gave us his card and we walked toward our car.

Then it started. His "buddy" chases us down and tells us that the sales rep is new and he will get into trouble if we don't come in to at least run some numbers and it will only take a few minutes. Being the dimwits that we obviously are, we go back in not wanting to get this guy in "trouble". Suddenly we are talking to a person we don't know who wants to know what we are interested in doing this evening. We tell him quite clearly that we were not going to purchase tonight and that we were told that some numbers were going to be run but we hadn't made up our mind what we wanted to purchase. Then they send in another person that we don't know and this starts all over again. Suddenly we are being given paperwork for a credit check and calcualtions for purchasing a Matrix. My spouse gets really angry at this point and tells the sales reps that we are leaving.

We get up to leave and they send yet another person out who wants to know at what price we will purchase the Matrix. He then tells us he was given the impression that we were serious purchasers and no one comes out late in the evening unless they planned to purchase a car and that we needed to give him an idea of the price we wanted to pay because he needed to know what was going to be in it for him???!!! My spouse walked out disgusted. I try to be polite about the whole situation only to go to the vehicle and find two other sales reps verbally harrassing my spouse about our current vehicle. This was a nightmare of trying to shake sales reps off your leg and wasted almost 2 hours of our time. Yipes!! It would seem this dealership should only be visited as a last repsort or if you really are a person who enjoys combat.

I am in the market for a new Camry. I used to buy my old 2003 Camry there and got good service with the internet fleet sale man. I never care much for the show room sale people. They are a*s holes and sounds a lot like this Harry guy. I won't stop by Right Toy this time. There are better deals else way. and if they want to sell cars, they have to be professional. If any sale men sound like Harry. just give them the bird and leave. harry sounds like he is a salesman. he said the dealer is GIVING their car to the customer is sound like BS. the customer is buying and paying with their money or credit. so, where did harry got the gal to call people cheap?  what an a*s hole!

all you guys seem a little bitter, if you want to get a hassle free sale, then pay the MANUFACTURER SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE, which is on the window of the vehicle....after all that is what the factory suggests you pay for the car!! that way it will be quick and easy!! but if you want to be cheap skates and get a huge discount, then you'll have to sell us on why we should give you a car at a low or 500 over invoice price...guess what on and invoice of $20,000 thats twenty thousand, that is an investment and for such el'cheapos like you to ask a dealer to not make any money on a twenty thousand dollar investment he made is just plain stupid!! so get a life and quit being so cheap!!

Harry, you are so evasive

Harry, you are so evasive. With all of the automobiles on the market, how do you expect a consumer to make a decision when they only shopped at one place. I do not believe that the only time you go and inquire about a product is when you are ready to buy. You car salesman should get a real job, instead of harassing people to buy cars when they are not ready. Although you all don't work hard for your money, does not mean that other people do not. If you dont want your time wasted, get another job. You people don't make your sales quota and then you get on public funds. You know that the salesman positions have a high turnover, so you should be more cordial to us, considering the fact that when they decide to fire you for not making your quota, then you will have to get on public assistance in which we pay for. So mind your manners and get a real job.

Dear Readers:

I have a great idea. let's pass legslation that would make it illegal for car dealers to provide financing help for their own clients. That way we do away with all of the conflict over interest rates and such.

It would be so simple....just go out get your own loan or whatever and visit your nearest dealership just like going to the local grocery store (they don't provide financing either)pick out your car pay for it and leave.

Sound like a plan? Well guess what you can do the same thing today....so why don't you?

Dear "Great Thorn":

I wish to thank you for your efforts to make America a healthier place. Now I bet you are wondering what I mean by that? Well what I mean is that we at the dealerships will send in the information EXACTLY as it is written and signed by the customer and that being the case all those folks out there who want to buy a car will be walking instead and getting more exercise.

What will you be doing next time? And don't even think about asking a dealership employee to help you. After all, we just screw the public?

Hey "D" I posted this for you, I thought the east was Rip Off capital in the auto industry. From all of the Reports I just might be wrong!

"D" Car dealers will do anything to sell you any of their new "Over Priced Depreciating SLEDs". "OPDS"

They can't stand the thought of you spending your money at another "Shark Pond" down the street. If you do not buy from them, they get a BIG FAT ZERO!

Try this, complain to Toyota Motor corp, as to how you were treated by sending a "Printer Friendly Version" of your Rip Off Report to the following address or fax number. You will soon agree with me that they will do a BIG FAT ZERO!

I also would send a "Printer Friendly Version" of your Rip Off Report to
National Automobile Dealers Association. It would give them something HARD to CHEW on.

Car buyers have to be very careful when going to their local "Shark Pond" better known as a car dealer. If not the following can happen. Go to this below Rip Off Report and read what a Chevy dealer did.

http://www.ripoffreport.com/view.asp?id=52158

Car dealers will do anything to make a sale, like Padding the Buyer's income, lying to the lenders as to how much the car buyer is REALLY paying for their rent, jockeying the info on the Buyer's credit App to make the deal look good in the lender's eyes.

Doing what ever they can to make the deal look better so a bank will hang the paper. Just makes me sick as to what car dealers are doing to car buyers. Changes are coming, and soon!

We must not forget about some of the dirty phone tricks that car dealers do. Like "Spoon Feeding" their Strong "Lot Sharks" all of the "phone UP's. making sure that all of their "Green Pea's" grind all day on their "Shark Pond" that's the lot pounding in the heat for their next "UP"

Note to all that are thinking of buying a car from a car dealer:

Call up any car dealer and ask to speak to a new car salesman. Chat with the clown for a few, Then hang up then call back in an hour or two and ask to speak to a new car sales man.

See if their operator dumps you back to the same "Trained Lot Shark" If they do, you can bet that they make sure that their operator dumps all "Phone UP's" to their favorite "Spoon Fed Lot Shark" "SFLS"

They only want the ones that has the ability to bend everyone over that steps foot in "The Box" and go the deepest. You know, go for the backend poundage. "BP"

Yes, it is true that some car Buyer's like their F&I clowns. That's when the buyer gets in deep trouble! Thinking they feel OK with their F&I guy.

They think he or she is nice. Bad thinking, once the "Trained F&I Clown" thinks their soon to be victim likes them, The buyer is now in need of more than one tube KY Jelly in a big way.

"F&I Clowns" like to sell some dumb a*s over priced Paint protection package to a car buyer. Making the buyer feel like they are protecting their new "Over Priced Depreciating SLED". "OPDS"

Many "F&I Clowns" will go to their service department and ask their service manager for a burnt out ECM so they can stuff it in the face of their customer's face trying to use scare tactic's so they can sell them an Over Priced extended warranty like all other F&I Clowns once they get the buyer/victim in "The Box'"

Stay tuned because as soon as we help a deceptive "F&I Clown go to JAIL for FRAUD, you can bet we will have hay day with it.

I will see to it that it makes Rip Off Report head lines! I also will see to it that we have one of our many advocates take big HAPPY Photos of the dealer where he or she played their dirty games.

Note to all car buyers: Call up your auto finance company and ask for copies of all documentation that the dealer sent to them when you bought your car. You might experience what this lady has in the Rip Off Report listed below.

Take a good look at both pictures in the below Rip Off Report.

ttp://www.ripoffreport.com/view.asp?id=52158

Read this above Rip Off Report real good and make sure this deception does not happen to you. If it has File a Rip Off Report and expose your "F&I Clown" and your "lot Shark" Never trust your local friendly "Lot Shark" or a "F&I Clown"

You need to look at the credit application they sent to your lender, it might not be the one you filled out. Might be the one your "Trained Lot Shark" filled out after you went home with your new "Over Priced Depreciating SLED". "OPDS"

If you as a car buyer think your last F&I Clown liked you, ask them to show you the "backend Gross" they bent you over for!

It is time for car buying victims to start KICKING a*s and expose the "Rat Bastards" and I am here to help!

so how were you ripped off?

#8Consumer Suggestion

Thu, June 26, 2003

ok dear author, how exactly were you ripped off? seems to me like this dealership did its job and tried to earn your business!! nothing wrong with that, is there? Lets realisticly take a look at what you did, you went into the dealership and consumed a salespersons time, guess what! he and his managers did their job by trying to make a deal, since you consumed their time. I honestly never go shopping for anything unless i am ready to make a decision IF i was getting a good deal...so back to my original question, HOW WERE YOU RIPPED OFF? this is RIPOFF REPORT and you didn't even make a deal with the dealership so abviousley you werent ripped off, so do us a favor and quit your slander of dealerships...i have worked at a dealership before and honestly consumers like you are just a waste of any salesmans time!! thank you and have a good day!
