My story almost exactly mirrors that of another story I read by Wanda from Cherry Tree, PA. We had gotten behind due to some medical bills and a gentleman named Tony Coombs from American Express contacted us regarding a payoff. They referred us to Right Value Financial for a personal loan for debt consilation.

My husband and I did not research Right Value Financial as we figured the referral from American Express was valid. My husband began speaking with a gentleman named Raymond Lewis from Right Value Financial. He was told he was approved for $10,000 personal loan in his name. Because of his credit score he would need to put 25% down as collateral against the loan.

We were told the $10K would be transferred into our account within 24-48 hours of this transaction. My husband wired them a little over $2500. He was then contacted by a man named Gus, Raymond's supervisor. He said that because of insurance reasons they would need an additional $1300 wired before they could release the funds.

My husband said he'd prefer to cancel all transactions, but was told it would be 30 days before anything could be done to issue a refund check. At this point I wised up and started doing internet research only to discover that this company is a fraud.

We are doing everything we can to overcome this situation, and do not want others to suffer as we have. I personally feel this "company" is irreprehensible, but feel even worse towards the gentleman at American Express for the referral. I would have thought they would do a better job at screening the companies they refer their clients to.
