We cancelled our ringcentral account on May 8th because we didn't use it enough to justify the expense. We called Ringcentral on the 8th of May to cancel and the operator said that we still had 2 weeks that we had already paid for. I told her that was fine; I didn't want them to refund me for the Month of May, I just wanted to close the account so there would be no more obligations on our part. On May 31st we recieved notice our credit card was billed for the month of June.

When we contacted them, they refuse to return the money paid for June stating that we had only extended the billing date for two weeks. Our only recourse at this time was to do a chargeback on our credit card.

So beware when associating yourself with Ringcentral--they use unscrupulous tactics to milk more money out of your credit card. If we had not noticed it, we would have continued to pay each month until we did our chargeback with the creditcard company.
