My name is Frank Torelli. I am one of the investigative reporter volunteers for Rip-off Report and have been investigating several internet and e-mail scams.

WARNING: If you are approached in any way, or by any means, DO NOT RESPOND! This is a very dangerous scam and there are those who have lost their lives. They convince you to BRING money there to collect your fortune and when you do, you and your money "disappear."

Bank statement that they are saying you can claim at Union Bank of Nigeria.

What a dickhead you are Ron.

This was a serious warning. A lot of our elderly get rippped off by thses scams and in this case the warning was to save a life. I think the Rip Off Reports prove that yes there are many gullible people out there and the businesses that rip them off are taking advantage of thier stupidity. But like I said in this case we are talking about people lives. Thank goodness someone like Frank was out there investigating this. If it saved one life it was worth it. What I'm trying to say is your a friggin a*****e Ron.

Greed, Stupidity & NO Common Sense

There is never a shortage of greedy and/or stupid people and never will be. Theives will always find a means of parting those types from their money. The gullible of all centuries and all civilizations have fallen for the same bait over and over - hook, line, and sinker.

The Rip-Off report clearly depicts its goodly share of folks who caused their own problems one way or the other. And, of course, quickly blame everyone except themselves for their misfortunes.

It's so difficult to feel sorry for anyone with the common sense of a rock.

extremely dangerious

I get quite a lot of those Nigerian / African scam emails on a regular basis. I always get a good laugh out of them, seeing how ridiculous they are. According the the US Secret Service, surprisingly Americans and Europeans are ripped off to $100 Million every year on these scams.

The Nigerian scams that ask you to travel to Nigeria are extremely dangerious, and a few Americans have even been killed over there.
