My son and I went to an investment seminar on April 5, 2008. We purchased many websites from a company called Rip2it.com. They said that we would have a total of 170 websites over a 6 month period of time.

We ordered their Tycoon program for $10,000 and the owner, Sean Roach told us in person that we would have 50 websites up and running on the fourth day after we signed the agreement. There was a 3 day cancellation clause on the agreement which we never really focused on.

I told Sean Roach that we had no time to work on these websites. He promised that they would up and running and would start to generate advertising income in the thousands of dollars. It all sounded great to have a passive income similar to an investment account.

But that's where we got fooled. This company never lived up to their agreement to have these websites up and running by the fourth day. I tried to get these websites up and running for two months. Please bear in mind that I was promised that there was no work involved. So for two months I struggled to unzip and load these files.

I never got any of them operating properly and we were so disgusted that after two months I finally cancelled the agreement claiming Rip2It to be a total fraud. I even had to spend another $300 to buy domain names for the first 30 websites that we were working on.

My son and I have been in dispute with two of his credit card companies since June of this year. Now they claim there is nothing they can do to help and that we must pay the total amount.

This company should be put to shame. We wasted so much time.

Please let me know if there are any other people who have filed a claim and what can we do to remove these charges from our credit cards and reestablish our good credit. Any help you can give us would be appreciated.

I am sorry to hear of your loss however you should not invest in something you know nothing about.

Websites do not make money. Marketing a website makes money. A website that nobody visits will not sell anything. Marketing is time consuming and costly.

I do think you do have a case against the scammers as they did promise to have your sites up in 4 days and failed to do so.

Sue them.
