Ripped off by Ocwen foreclosing on us ..well, they are screwing us over
Our rental property was sold to Ocwen bank in Sept. After it was sold some guy called us and talked a bit about their comp. He also told us that we had three months to make a payment which would put us up to Dec.
well, being that i was in school and only working part time and being in and out of the hosp. we didn't make a payment. we realize that it was rental property and that the money we got (which didnt even cover the mortgage)should have been sent to them, but when you have little kids some times food comes first. anyway we figured on getting a grant from the school in Nov. and getting caught up.
well, the grant fell through and i was put in the hosp. again and am now diabled. I can not work and we are having a hard enough time making ends meet as it is now. Anyway in Nov we got a letter stating that we had to come up with xx amount of dollars by the middle of the month. well it didnt happen. everytime we tried calling we would get a computer no human. then we get this letter that they want to help us come up with a repayment plan so they wouldn't have to take our property.
well, when we finally got through to someone they wouldn't work with us. the computer would call and give some girls name and we would call back and would be told that she wasn't in etc. now they won't work with us unless we come up with 5000.00 otherwise they will foreclose. oh well i guess. but it really pisses me off we may have been able to work this out if we could have talked to a real person.
