I purchased a chevy Malibu from these people in 2006. I was told it was a private party sale at first and then found out it was through a dealership. Anthony Odenore was the guy who sold me the car. After 1 day of driving the car the brakes went out and two of the tires blew off the side of the car. When I called Anthony Odenore he told me I should replace the parts and it wasn't there responsibility. Then he stopped answering my calls all together. I've seen several reports about this company online from people with similar stories like me. Since i've owned this car it has NEVER worked. In 3 years of owning it, it has yet to run correctly. They buy cheap cars and strip the parts out and sell them, then put old parts back in the car to make a quick buck. I've spent three times what the car is worth fixing it. I would have sued them if I still lived in minneapolis. These people are con artists specifically Anthony Odenore. If you plan on buying a car research the place you buy it from first. Thats the lesson I learned from all of this. AVOID RISING STAR AUTO AND ANTHONY ODENORE LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDED ON IT!!!!!!

You clearly did not read the entire post. You focused on the one thing you might be able to discredit(you did a very bad job)  Con artists like Rising Star Auto take money from good people. I posted so long after buying the car because I didnt know this site exsisted. I was prompted by another report I saw about Rsing Star Auto. I felt these people should not be allowed to continue doing this to hard working people.  I wanted to warn other consumers about this place in hopes they wouldnt be taken advantage of. You are clearly in association with them to defend there crim inal behavious. To update everyone, the car is dead. It finally quit in the middle of the freeway during morning rush hour.  Sort of figures. I just hope that when I research a new dealership that somebody was nice/smart enough to post a consumer report about them.

next time you post something, using CAPITALS all the TIME doesnt make you SOUND any SMARTER.  Is that TRUTH enough for you??

This writer sounds ridiculous and malicious. Anyone who knows a little about cars could see that. He or she should tell consumers how profitable, or what" QUICK BUCK" you can make from removing parts from a car, sell them and then go and purchase the same parts again OLD or NEW to start replacing them. Bearing in mind that most used parts are more expensive and the cost of labor to strip and replace is even twice more expensive than the parts its self.

I wont buy such a car and wait 3years before i file a complaint.
I think the editor should call this person to obtain the TRUTH.
