I purchased a long-wave ultraviolet flashlight from Risk Reactor several years ago.  It is similar to those used for checking IDs at the airport, but is more powerful.  I used this in my laboratory for certain types of tests that require UV light to read the result.  Recently, my flashlight stopped working and I identified the problem as the switch.

I contacted this company about getting areplacement switch.  The response was extremely unhelpful, even though I sent pictures of the flashlight and the defective switch.  There were several emails exchanged over the course of a month, but no helpful information at all.  Finally I went to a local hardware store and bought a cheap LED flashlight that had a switch similar to the defective one.  Quite simply, it worked and I have moved on.  It is really a shame, because this company has now lost potential sales in the tends of thousands (each of these flashlights costs over $100).
