Complaint Review: Ritual

In 2023 I attended an event hosted by ritual at Dead Ringer Social Club as a matter in fact it was ritual and its staff that invited me. A personal friend of mine gave me an invite to their facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/renogoth/ because she thought I could make some friends. Ritual runs the group they also DJ locally in the Reno Nevada area. I run a radio show and news site so we give good press to local events which is why I did attend some to help promote them and refer them to some big wigs perhaps help them out a little.

When I was promoting them through MY facebook they decided on their own group to start harassing and bullying me because they did not like how I did my promos. They begin to public shame me calling me a bullying, rapist, mocking me out because I am autistic, making threats, telling me I am not welcomed to attend events etc. Bare in mind that these events are public and they are NOT hosted by Ritual. Ritual is a guest at both Alturas and Dead Ringer Social Club whom they host an event called Gothic Night but really most of the attendees are walk ins and NOT from their group. However, they are making special sets of rules of what someone can say or do at these events even though people attending them pay a cover charge before entering the bar.

They made threats to me saying I am not allowed to socialize with other women and I was accused of dating them. Only to find out that one of the staff on ritual is grooming women nearly dating or having sexual relations with many of his members while men are often kicked out of the group, told not to attend the events and treated with chauvinism. I have interviewed other men and they said the same exact thing. Ritual caters to women and discriminates against men at least 75 percent of the time. They claim they do not bully against sex and treat others with kindness however when I sought help from its owners they joined in with harassing us in their group also off the group.

I even seen a woman at one of the events in and unsafe situation by one of their members who refused to stop touching her and had her pinned against a wall RITUALS staff did NOTHING! Yet they preach they care about everybodies safety except when it only comes to their own personal friends its obvious they have favortism towards their inner circle and not concern for those outside of it who attend said events. Their is a lack of concern for mens safety but during that one incident I seen a lack of concern for one of their female members at an event they were suppose to be monitoring. But instead they were drunk at the event and were negligent.

At their events I been physically hit by groups of their friends who were on drugs and the last event I attended a few of their friends purposely were stepping on my shoes then laughing about it. When I left the group and told them I no longer will attend their events they accused me of dating there girls. They also threatened me because I no longer wanted to be a part of their cult. I left because the atmosphere on their group was hostile if they had any issue with my promos they could have contacted me privately instead they belittled, threatened, name called, harassed, made fun of me etc etc in front of all their members. Even though the individual Xenophobia who is a DJ for ritual told me in person she loves my promos and that she was thankful I was doing this for them. While its staff were telling me I had no right to say pretty women on film even though I posted it LIVE from my own FB not live from their page.

After I left the group Uncle Rusty also known as Rusty Burton, DJ Xenophobia aka Lisa Staton, Christopher Fuqua aka Chase Fuqua and his exgf Erica Wilsey begain to run a smear campaign against me. They started to spam a hate site which hates on gothic people, gays, people of various religions etc That same site had a hate page about me done twenty years ago and they bombed all my businesses with it. They thought it would be funny to do even though that same parody site laughs at everything they are which is gothic, pagan, gay etc.

That is how it started then they started threatening my friends, creating dozens of fake accounts on facebook, creating fake accounts to flirt with me then stand me up on dates, sexually harassing me, trying to get my own gothic group locally in the Reno area in trouble if not canceled and turning me on FB saying I was not a real person which then I had to contact FB with a valid ID to prove the claims were false.

I want NOTHING to do with Ritual or the their Reno Goth Scene Group on FB I left and they have continued to stalk and harass me. No good business does that to their clients or promoters but apparently when I left and decided their events are a huge waste of time even a bit misleading it hurt their feelings and now they refuse to leave our businesses or me alone. Its very cult like and I have been threatened that how dare I stop going to their events but I no longer wish to promote these people. Their is to much illegal things going on ranging from drugs to grooming of women. I cant even see paying ten dollars to see the same two grossly obese DJs play the same music over and over yet they claim its gothic music when some of it is just 80s and I have even heard some love music where everyone is slow dancing not even close to being goth.

While its staff had an opportunity to meet me most of them hid from me and now they think its okay to harass someone they do not know. They libeled and slandered us including me through their forums and publicly. Their is a ton of copyright violations maybe even on a federal level by Rusty Burton and L.M. Staton for one. For two if you own and operate your group you need to make sure all members feel safe that includes me. Yet they stood by idol watching creepy as their staff pummeled me publicly for nearly three days which was not only embarrassing but it showed me that they were not very ethical. They preach everyone is equal yet I was verbally assaulted then after each assault its staff would hide their messages to cover up their maltreatment of me.

I cant even begin to tell you how difficult my life has become since these people refuse to get out of it. We have no idea if Ritual is even a registered business according to Reno they are not therefore they are just a bunch of DJs playing at a bar a couple days a month that run a FB group. But it does not mean they are on the up and up. They have been harassing me now for six months and I have not gone to a single event since then and refuse to go because of their childish behavior. Ritual laughs at people with mental disabilities they will not accommodate such people as a matter in fact one my companies owner was going to give them a thousand dollars to DJ at a local Christmas event for the blind and disabled. They laughed it off and refused said they do not play music for disabled people.

I do not recommend other people join their group or get involved with their events. Because if they do not like you or agree with you they are going to do the same thing to me as they probably will do to others. Its not like they already do not some men get discriminated upon and this is a public venue yet they get told they are not allowed to attend it. Sure we will be notifying the bars they hold events at this is costing them customers and business. But also this behavior has to be for now associated with both of the bars listed since Ritual claims that its there event which is not true the only thing that Ritual does is DJ there. They do not serve the drinks and they are not employees. They are DJs that is it! DJs that continue to harass our social media, businesses and ME. Even after I left!

I have friends of mine that stated they were contacted by them and threatened. Some of them intimidated telling them they cant join my gothic group or talk about them. Its a free country my friends can dislike what they are doing and their is not a thing they can do about it. If you do not like them or want to get involved with them then they get all emotional and try to make threats about how they wont be welcomed at future events. Most of my friends and people want nothing to do with them especially after this.

I get it you did not like my promos or were intimidated by my gothic presence or me exercising my free speech but its still no reason to gang up on someone like me bully me on and off their group publicly. As a matter in fact my promos and post were being liked by dozens of their members who thanked me for them. My post had further reach then their staff and one of the staff made a jealous comment about that so its obvious that they did not like the idea that some of their members supported our promos and work we were doing here!

They are exploiting me now because I am autistic etc etc and its wrong but its also very illegal and I am about to get a lawyer and sue Ritual if that means putting them and their events out of business which I will do if it does not stop. Their is no Reno Goth Scene in Northern Nevada its far from Goth its more about sex, drugs and them. I am involved in other gothic scenes in other locations and its nothing like this. They have ran this scene into the ground like its a cult and you must worship them or else. The next step would be to file a restraining order against Ritual and its DJs since they are stalking me now. Their is allot of jealousy honestly the staff was never gothic anyways none of them were and I always showed to events fully gothed out which they laughed at me for me.

This is really who Ritual is meanwhile they promote equality and kindness yet they are laughing at people who are true to the scene questioning their looks whether they are gothic or not yet they slap a little eyeliner on and a t-shirt with jeans then go around saying they are the limpidity of being goth.Yet they make fun of certain gothic people including me yet it was me who supported them. They also sell merchandise like for example key chains and T-shirts. They also ask for money! Therefore they are a business or conducting business! Honestly, I am filing this so other people think twice before spending money on Ritual or these DJs knowing they they have put me through the ringer. Their is obviously allot of jealousy because I am a public figure with three times the amount of members and followers they have therefore they will not let me go.

This is just bad business and my next step will be filling with the BBB to get this all on record. Also running a story through our news site and ill take as many steps necessary in order for them to take the hint and leave me alone end of story. You cant harass or bully someone and be complacent allowing your staff to do so if those staff represent Ritual end of story and do nothing about it because your all friends and party together. This goes beyond that this is a breach in ethics and its about morals. You do not treat your supporters, members, fanbase or customers this way end of story does not matter if you do not like them or you do not like their opinions I do not own or operate Ritual they do!

I have contacted them I have asked them to stop they do not instead they create fake accounts on FB then on the timeline hold polls to see if I am gothic then admit its them doing it from Ritual not very smart nor effective anyway you look at it this is harassment as they are creating fake accounts to threaten and interrupt our businesses publicly!

At one of the venues they tried to pack 250 people in a room 35' by 30' and it had one exit. Yeah that does not violate local and state law in regards to fire safety. It would only take one mass shooter to stand in the doorway and nobody would be able to leave the venue because Ritual blocked that with their equipment. That venue by the way had uneven floors and boards coming up. It was so packed in fact people were stepping on me and their was absolutely no room to move throughout the event. That way they could pack as many individuals in to line their filthy greedy pockets!

This is why were filing the report enough is enough I get it nobody is perfect however if I going to be chastised for leaving or being ME then we can certainly find many things about Ritual which are far from perfect to which is why we are filing this on rip off report and other sites. Ritual has left a bad taste in my mouth knowing that this has been going on a long time and so very little gets done about it. Therefore, the report is to let others know in the Reno area it probably is within your best interest to not get involved with these people because what happened to me easily could happen to you!

I have multiple times asked for a public apology in how I was treated because I had many friends in their group and those friends of mine have been misled because of the libel they spewed out within their own group. They refuse to give it which is why I am now taking more actions against them because I have given them more then once chance to make things right. They chose to continue doing what they are doing months down the road and now this is where we are at.
