I reach out to this company to finance bankruptcy sale for $522,750.00 in DC they agreed. they were charging me 10% and 4 points to do the deal. prior to agreeing I ask several questions which I was told yes to those questions, I agreed to do the loan with them the account executive Candice Blevins told me to pay $500 for attorney to prepare the docs and a one point $3995 upfront which I wired to them the trustee for the bankruptcy informed me that the sale needs the court approval and it would take an additional 30 days this was a week before the commitment letter expire I ask the Candice the account executive she told me it would cost an additional $3995 I told her I would not pay for something that was out of my control, the next time I reached out to them I was told Candice was no longer there and Benjamin Dunavant took over I informed him that the trustee informed me that the sale was waiting for the court approval to move forward and the commitment letter expires on Sunday August 10, 2017 and the title company was still working on getting all the necessary items for the closing he said he would extend the commitment Letter if I pay an additional $3995 to extend the commitment for 30 more days again I explained that the delay was not caused by anything I did so why should I pay for the extension. I refused and asked for a refund they refused so I lost $4495 just like that do not believe anything they say have them put it in writing. they are unethical as a former mortgage underwriter companies like this and the people who run them should be locked up.
