"RJ MICROFINANCE"
Richard Johnson , the loan officer claimed that I received a business loan for $50,000 but I had to pay a closing fee of $650 by western union. This was on 11/27/10. He emailed the loan documents that were prepared by his lawyer. He also sent a copy of his companies incorporation documents, other legal documents & his id. I asked him why I had to pay a closing fee and he said that there is always a closing fee when you get a micro loan. I was a little apprehensive, but I saw information where a few people said they received loans from him and they had no problem. I looked over the documents and asked him questions about his website , he claimed it was under construction and that is why he sent his id and business information to me. He kept promising me that he would not scam me and that God was looking at him. he would never rob innocent people. I thought about a few days and he keep calling me. I sent the fee & he promised me that the loan would be in my account the next day. I sent $650 fee and paid $60 to send it by Western Union because Richard claimed if I sent the fee to his bank it would Take 8 weeks for the Loan to go through to my bank. I sent it to the United Kingdom and Michael Jacobs picked it up. The next day , he emails me and says that a new rule was enforced recently where each party has to pay 10 percent of the loan amount. he says I have to send another $1000 and he claims he also has to pay $1000. He tells me this after I have already sent the $650 closing fee to him. I tell him I don't have anymore money and I want to get my transfer fee back since I can't get the loan. He claims that he didn't know about this $1000 fee. I tell him to take my part out of the loan . He claims He can't do that because the loan is already in route. He tells me he promises that I will get the $50,000 and that this was a new rule that he knew nothing about. I really see his true colors. I tell him that I do not believe him and he shows me where the transfer was sent but it can not be put into my account until I pay my amount. I am convinced to send the $1000 and I pay $65 to send by Western Union on 12/04/2010. It was suppose to post on 12/06/10 but then he emails me and says that there was a problem with the transfer. he said that the bank said they they have to receive a transfer payment of $2,500 each from both the transferee and the transfer. He says he will give me an extra $25,000 for a total of $75,000 & that I would only have pay back $50,000. I tell him that was it and to send back my transfer money. he claims he can not do that . This is a scam and he needs to be stop. I would like to get my money back. I am behind on my bills because I send this my money to get this loan. I thought that this was legitimate. Innocent people such as myself are being victimized and we need help. I have all of my Western Union receipts and the names of the gentleman that picked the fees up.

Anytime someone you don't know asks you to send money via Western Union, you are being scammed. Legitimate businesses to not do this. Virtually all scammers on the Internet require that money be transfer this way because it leaves no paper trail for authorities to follow. It's the same as handing cash to a stranger on the street.
"I have all of my Western Union receipts and the names of the gentleman that picked the fees up. "
Scammers generally do not use their real names when stealing. Those receipts aren't going to help. Basically the problem now is that you have no idea who you sent money to. The transaction was international, so there is no single law enforcement agency that has jurisdiction. That was done on purpose.
For future reference, as soon as you hear mention of paying through Western Union or Moneygram, you can be assured that you are being scammed.
