Complaint Review: Road Loans

Please do not use this company for auto financing and if you have a loan with them look for other financing options!

We have had a loan with RoadLoans since 9/06. Have never made a late payment until 3/07. Our payment was due 3/17/07 and on 3/23/07 RoadLoans called my husband's employer and gave our private protected customer information including type of loan, payment history and other information to a fellow employee.

The RoadLoan associate was rude and threatening.

We spoke to a supervisor at RoadLoans who indicated they would handle the complaint internally and we would not receive an appology or be advised that the situation would be corrected.

After reading the horror stories about roadloans on your site we began to get worried. We have contacted BBB in california and the federal trade commission, however the best course of action is for consumers to stop using their services and put them out of business.

Our loan with them is in the process of being paid off as this is written.
