This company trolls for "employees" on employment websites, and has you sit with trainer to see if you like the job. If you ask about pay they show you the rate margin they make on each truckload. This is 70% for them. You are told you can make thousands a week! They forget to tell you make 30% and this is on the back of the load. Roadrunner makes another 20% off the truck driver! Oh. And they "offer" lease-purchase option for the poor trucker to come on-board to drive for them, and who knows how much money they make off of that deal! I'd say a lot. As a dispatcher, if you work hard, and I mean talk a lot and can talk your case really well, and put up with a lot of menusia -- you can make money...for them.. Don't expect to get paid on delivery right away. I was told "you get paid when we get paid". First red flag. I negotiated over $3000.00 worth of loads and was paid only $600 after 4 weeks of working for this fraudulent company. Another week rolls by, no mention on the rest of pay. Payroll manager walks by me several times to chat up other dispatchers who have been there awhile. No mention or email about reason not paid. I left the office, and called to give notice. Friday rolled around and no paycheck. Called the owner to ask about paycheck. Told to read my contract. Just because it's in the contract, doesn't make it right. Payroll manager called me and emailed contract. States they can hold commissions as long as they like after a dispatcher leaves. I never gave them formal notice of leaving, and knew I was not going to get paid just from the general attitude towards new people there. I'm sure they have a lot of turn around, and poor record keeping. Computer records don't lie.

I am going through a similar situation! I worked there for a month and a half. Seen over 10 people come and go because of the false hope of making money. I left a little over 3 months ago and I still haven't been paid!!! They keep saying there is a hold up on one of the loads! They owe me approx. $300!!!!
